•AVOIDED TOPICS: I'd like to avoid long, detailed descriptions of pointy things going into eyes (brief mentions are completely fine).

IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: The end of Saiyuki Reload Blast.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Tall (184 cm/6'1"), wiry man in his mid-twenties with long, crimson hair and crimson eyes. He tends to dress in baggy tank tops and... some weird anime version of cargo pants, or jeans. When wearing long-sleeved shirts he'll often leave them unbuttoned-- gotta show off the goods, after all. He has two deep scars on his left cheek, obviously caused by claws. You'll almost always catch him with a cigarette in his mouth.
•DEMEANOR: Gojyo is loud, swears like a sailor, and is quick to throw around dirty jokes. He'll often tease and joke around, especially if he thinks it'll get a rise out of someone. His body language is confident and casual: he'll slump and manspread when sitting down on a couch, and often stands with his hands in his pockets. He most likely reeks of cigarette smoke at any given time. He's not much for personal space: if the interaction is amicable, it won't take long before he's leaning against you or slinging an arm across your shoulder. He'll shamelessly flirt with any unattached pretty woman around his own age, but he'll back down immediately if told no.
•ABILITIES: As a half-youkai, he's stronger and more durable than normal humans, and can to an extent sense youkai energy. He can summon Shakujo, a staff with an axe on one end and a sickle on a chain on the other, which is his primary weapon of choice. He's a talented brawler, cardsharp, and due to growing up on the streets he knows his way around larceny and pick-pocketing.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Half-youkai, half-human crossbreed. Gojyo is stronger and more durable than a baseline human, but aside from that his body functions like a human's. By some miracle his insides are not complete mush despite his long-term diet of junk food, booze and tobacco.
•CABIN INFORMATION: A basic wooden door that's seen better days, leading into a pretty ratty house with worn-down furniture. There's very little there beyond the basics: no curtains, no rugs. How much of a trashy bachelor's pad it looks like is in direct inverse proportion to how long it's been since Hakkai's been over to clean.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Calling him a freak or any variation thereof. Comments about his hair/eye colour (even compliments) won't be appreciated. Child abuse. Threatening/hurting Hakkai or other important people won't go over well. Gojyo is nowhere near as prone to go on murder sprees when his loved ones are hurt as Hakkai is, but there's still a high likelihood of him grabbing/punching/yelling at the offending party.
IC PERMISSIONS:
•MENTAL: Yes. He has no specific defences against it. If your character can sense that's he's not fully human, that's perfectly okay!
•MIMICRY: Yes. Been there, done that; he won't be impressed.
•VIOLENCE: Yes! He can and will fight back.
•MAGIC: Yes. Again, no defences against it.
•DEBATE: Yes, although he's not much of a debater and will likely get frustrated before long.
•SEX: Gojyo will happily sleep with any pretty woman who gives him the time of day! His player is a wuss who'll want to fade to black. If things ever progress to this point with a male character, I'll... cross that bridge when I get to it.
•OTHER / NOTES: Gojyo's backstory includes: child abuse, death of a parent, parent-child incest and suicidal ideation. This is not something he'll bring up in casual CR, but please let me know if you don't want it touched upon at all.
Gojyo has some internalised homophobia going on: think making 'joking' comments like "you like guys? oohh, now I'll be scared to take my shirt off in front of you!". Again, please let me know if you don't want to deal with this at all.
